The started at 7.30 with breakfast, and then at 7.50 we began trekking. The goal for today was Dingboche at 4440m, an ascend of almost 600m. It began going down at first until we came down to the milky river. After that it went upwards. We stopped at lower Phangboche for some lemon tea after 1 few hours. Walking upwards we then came to the village of Somare were we had lunch. Well needed for tired bodies and hungry stomachs. The weather has now changed and you need both a winnproof jacket, gloves and a hat due the cold winds. At around 13.15 we arrived to our lodge I Dingboche at 4440m. It then had begun snowing a little. Sitting in the warm lodge having some tea we saw the snow increase. Seeing a lot of trekkers arriving Dingboche, we were glad we arrived before the heavy snowfall. The lodge is full today and the dining room is packed with trekkers, guides and porters. We will stay two nights here in Dingboche. Tomorrow we will just do an acclimation trek with an ascend of a couple of hundred meters. So for today, it is over and out from Jonas, Dennis and Jan
