We all slept well at the teahouse to night. We got up at 7.00, packed our bags, and then went to have breakfast at 7.30. Half hour later we started todays trek. It began going up immediately. We passed a couple of suspension bridges and had wonderful views of mount Thamserku. The sun was shining all day. J At 11 we stoped for lunch at Jorsale, a small village close to the dudi koshi river, also called “milky river”. A 1 hour stop and then we were on it again. After approx. 15 min walk we came to the highest suspension bridge during the trek. The wind made it a little bit shaky crossing the bridge. After crossing the bridge it only went up, up, up. All three of us felt it in our thighs and butts! After 2 hours of going upwards we finally reached Namche Bazar, the Sherpa city at 15.00. We started the day at approx. 2400 m and are now at 3440 m. After a nice shower in our nice rooms, we walked around a little bit in Namche, had a cup of coffee before going back to our hotel Khumbu Lodge for dinner and some writing for the blog.
