09 October 2014 – Finally Lukla!!

Today we got out of bed 5 o’clock for the car drive to Kathmandu airport and 07.30 flight to Lukla. Around 8.00 we went to the aircraft by short bustrip. Well there, bad news, Bad winds In Lukla, so no flight. Back to transit for 2 hours then a new try. Me, Dennis had the best seat at the front on the left hand side in the aircraft. :-D. But no no!! After some time in the aircraft bad news again, back to transit again. Finally after 8 hours we were all set and the weather were with us. Landed in Lukla safe 14.45 after a cool flight trip and landing. A fast lunch with fried rice with vegetables and the famous lemon tea. And our trek started. Nice walk with a breathtaking view. It went dark the last 30 minutes before arriving Phakding and Sun rise teahouse for dinner and a good night sleep.
