Today was our acclimatization day. We went up to 3800m before coming back down to sleep in Namche. First we went to a museum about the Khumbu region and its history. We saw our first view of Everest right by the museum. We then climbed (with difficulty due to altitude) to the Everest view lodge where we had a nice tea with a magnificent view. Then we hiked to Khumjung for lunch, where we saw our first yaks. We visited the village school, funded by Sir Edmund Hillary, and looped back to Namche.
