Heding back to Khumjung!!
Today we “werthered” our way down to Khumjung (3780m). It is the simple act of sucking on a butterscotch sweetie while holding true to a dream that the dirt trail will ultimately end at a tea house.
Heading Back to Khumjung
On the path’s edge are barberry bushes with new red shoots. Ice is rapidly melting from the waterfalls we saw only days previously. Spring is most definitely in the air!
Ice Cube
Cam limped into town like a broken down yak. His great hallux must know that the end is near. A535/ Tylenol #3/ heat from a dung fire and a tensor will hopefully turn this around for tomorrow.
Khumbu Ice Fall Treaning Point
Mushroom pizza tonight was delicious and included local grown fungi. Perchance this might also hold the magic cure!
Hoping that school break, life in Calgary and things in Toronto are all problem free.
Loads of love. a.c. xx
